IPL 2018 is underway, and we have seen some amazing matches going on. However, not everyone is happy for the IPL and don’t want to host IPL matches in their city. There are protests going on in Chennai and its likely that IPL Matches Moved out of Chennai to Pune or other venue soon.
The reason behind IPL matches is moving out of Chennai is because of the Cauvery issue. There is a huge protest in the city and police said that they cannot provide protection to the IPL player. “The matches had to be shifted out of Chennai as police had said that they were unable to provide security in the prevailing situation. CSK is not averse to shifting base to Pune,” IPL Chairman Rajiv Shukla told PTI.

IPL Matches Moved out from Chennai
On Tuesday, the match between CSK and KKR witness the protest in a way of throwing shoes on CSK player. The show was thrown at Ravindra Jadeja who was standing at the boundaries and just missed him. There is CSK jersey has been burned and the protester has been arrested after that. The situation doesn’t look good for IPL when even Rajnikanth himself said that, in the middle of the protest, holding an IPL match is embarrassing. that is the reason why IPL Matches Moved out of Chennai.

CSK shoe throwing
“We are thinking on the lines of shifting the IPL matches from Chennai. There are four alternative venues that BCCI has kept ready. They are Visakhapatnam, Trivandrum, Pune, and Rajkot. CSK can play their matches at these venues,” said Committee of Administrator (CoA) Vinod Rai.
It’s been a shame that after two years when finally CSK is back to play the game, they won’t even play on their home ground. We all know that CSK has one of the biggest fan bases everywhere and even when the shoe was being thrown at CSK player by the goons, people have apologized on behalf of that person to Jadeja as well as Faf du Plessis who was standing behind the ropes.
Chennai super kings have won two back to back matches against IPL giants like Mumbai Indians and KKR and now looking forward to playing against kings eleven Punjab in Mohali. Players are in good form and playing well. But it’s unlikely that we are going to see them in their home ground cheered by their own fan.
on the issue of IPL Matches Moved out of Chennai, CSK CEO said: “The Commissioner told me that given the situation in the city and the protests, it would be better to reschedule the matches. We then conveyed the same to the BCCI.”
Having to shift the Home matches from the Den was not something that was on the cards. The Lions will roar in Pune and would like to thank all the Super Fans from the #WhistlePoduArmy for all the #Yellove support. Keep them whistles coming! 🦁💛

Very sad for our team @ChennaiIPL and the fans here in Chennai that we won’t be playing anymore games here this season. The atmosphere last game was incredible. Let’s hope this situation in Tamil Nadu is sorted out asap. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Very sad that we have to play our remaining home games away from Chennai. Feeling for the players and the fans but also hoping for a peaceful and swift resolution to the current problems. Thanks for the incredible support of all the Csk fans

So we are going to miss the whistle phodu cheering from CSK fan from Chennai but as they have fans in India everywhere, IPL matches moved out of Chennai won’t affect their performance at all.
