One of the biggest cricket festivals has arrived, and we are already guessing who is going to win. For the last ten years, many teams have come and gone, some teams have won many times like Mumbai Indian have won total 3 IPL and KKR had won 2 times same as CSK. But the question remains the same, Which is your favorite team in the IPL 2018 and why?
It’s too early to chose any team as everything is mixed up a little. IPL 2018 auction was one of the dramatic events that will change the course of IPL history. So many players left their team and joined another one, some have been retained with a big price tag but added new talent.
But if we look closely and see the past records of the player, we can simply figure out that which team is going to win IPL 2018 and that team will be our favorite team. Its simple, you just need to look at their player and their state first and then make a guess.
If someone asks me which is your favorite team, I will not hesitate to say Chennai super king. There are so many reasons behind it.
Why is Chennai super king hot favorite in IPL 2018?
If you find some new names in it, then you don’t need to worry about, as they are the wild card, which can surprise you as they always do under Dhonis captaincy. They have so many experience player who can take any role and make sure the team wins. The player like bravo, Jadeja, Dhoni, and Raina was always there in the team from the beginning, and they are the pillars on which CSK team won.
One of the biggest reason why CSK is my favorite and everyone favor too would be their large fan base. They have one of the biggest fan base in IPL before and even in IPL 2018. So are you agree with me on this, do you also feel that CSK will win IPL 2018? Do share us the name of your favorite IPL team for 2018.
IPL 2018 is just right next door, and we know what time it is, its IPL time. There are hundreds of reasons why you should watch IPL 2018, and because there will be two teams returning to play again, it will be wonderful to see. One of the questions everyone has during IPL 2018 Auction was What is the Right-to-Match cards in IPL 2018? So let’s dig into the detail.
If we just go by the wording, it suggests that it’s about having rights to match something, probably price as it was an auction. It was introduced by IPL Governing Council that if any team wants to retain their player, they can do it by RTM.
If any team wants to retain their player, there are two ways they can do it.
If any team wants their old player back on the team, they can choose three players and send their name before action. For the three players, they have to pay 33 crores. It will be 15 cr, 11cr and 7 cr respectively for the first player, second and third which they want to retain. If the franchise wants to retain only two players than they have to pay 21cr, which will be 12.5cr for the first player and 8.5cr for the second player. If teams want to retain just one player than they have to pay 12.5cr.
Obviously, when you have to pay 33cr out of 80cr of total value you can put in the team, its look a costly buy. So the team can choose to buy player during the auction, that’s when RTM comes in.
For example, if team A wants to retain their player X, they need to match the price for which player has been sold. It means if the player X has already been sold 10cr and the team who previously own that player wants to use their RTM, they need to match their price of 10cr to retain that player.
That is why most franchise chooses to bid RTM during the auction as the player price won’t go up, so then they don’t have to pay total 33cr and rather they can RTM them for a cheap price.
But there are still some of the players who are being retained before the auction, because they were the trump card in their team. They can afford to pay a hefty price as they are the player who is movers and shakers of the team.
Here is the list of player and team which were retained before the auction in IPL 2018
But there is few player who was retained by Right to match card, here is the full list of player which are obtained by RTM in IPL 2018 auction.
As you can see, a team can get back only five players with pre-auction or RTM, but not to exceed more than three players. We find this information nowhere and now you know where to look for all the IPL 2018 Update. So, what do you think about the right to match card? Do this help team or just useless option? Do tell us your thoughts in a comment.
IPL has been one of the most exciting creating game that ever played. During a month of time, eight teams will fight for the VIVO IPL 2018 cup, and only one came out as victories. But there are many controversies surrounded IPL for years, like bad umpiring decision. Those are a just human error, but that why they have DRS. So Will DRS be used in IPL 2018?
One of the main reason DRS is not used in IPL was because of BCCI. As this is a new technology and BCCI thinks it’s not fully proofed, they won’t take a chance in IPL. But this year, things are going to changes, as BCCI has given green signal to use DRS system in IPL 2018.
As we mentioned before, BCCI has their doubt on the system. As it was only introduced to BCCI in 2016, India tour of England, when they first time used in the match. DRS is short for Decision Review System. It was designed to decrease human error while taking a decision.
So its reasonable that as its new technology. There is few loophole which needed to fix. But as DRS was used in international matches where India had played, it was about the time when they introduce DRS to IPL.
“The BCCI was keen to have DRS on board for quite some time, but it was only this year we felt we should go ahead with it for the IPL. We have the best of all other systems in place, so why not DRS? Anyway, we have been using it for India’s international matches for over a year and a half now,” a BCCI official said.
As we can see, they are keen to implement this technology in the IPL, because even if its just a league, but it’s an Indian premier league and when its cricket and Indian both at the same place, every single decision is important and have bigger consequences.
We are all aware of the situation umpires has been facing. Even with the years of experience, sometimes, they also make an error and give a decision which was wrong. When the match IPL match is on, stacks are higher, and we are invested in it more than just for fun. To change it and lower the burden of umpire finally, BCCI has decided to implement DRS in IPL 2018.
This decision was not made just today, in December, BCCI has Chosen ten local umpires and had them trained in Vizag with Denis Burns, the ICC umpires’ coach, and former Australian pacer-turned umpire Paul Reiffel. They came down here just brief this local umpire about DRS system. BCCI wants to implement the DRS system in IPL 2018, and that is why they are going to train these local umpires.
DRS is not just technology to hear and see the ball and batsman movement. It’s an advanced system which can help and determine if the batsman is out or not. That will make a huge difference in IPL. IPL has very packed schedule, and they are going to play dozens of the game in one-month period. Just because of an umpire human error in the decision, they might lose the IPL. Fans are excited to hear about this and they are already cheering up for their team. One of the best comment we read was an advantage to CSK, as we all know that MS Dhoni, captain of CSK is very well known to take a correct timed DRS and about 90% time, DRS decision favored MS Dhoni.
So what’s your take on DRS being used in IPL 2018? Do tell us in the comment.

IPL 2018 auction was something of the mystery movie. Two old teams came back and they try harder to get the best player on their hand. Old 6 team choose the player wisely but In a two-day auction, they have seen ups and downs. Something them went gaga and bought some expensive player and other played safe and smart and retain their old player with RTM.
We will discuss every single team, with their new player and old player. How are the team looking, are they balanced, do they have what it takes to win the IPL 2018. Let’s find out.
The king has returned from the exile and they won’t stop until they win this one. They have been one of the most balanced team and winning combination, but after a two-year gap, they need to start working on it.
They aim for the experience in IPL 2018 auction and they get what they want. With MS Dhoni (retained 15 crores), Suresh Raina (retained, 11 c), Ravindra Jadeja (retained 7 c), the old team is back. They lack the opener as they only have Murali Vijay.
They always dominate the spinner department, as the captain Dhoni used to trust their spinner, they have one of the most experienced spinners like Harbhajan Singh, Imran Tahir, Karn Sharma and Mitchell Santner. As we know that ground on the Indian continent is favored to the spinner, we look forward to the captain cool lead team.
Team: MS Dhoni (retained 15 crore), Suresh Raina (retained, 11 c), Ravindra Jadeja (retained 7 c), Faf du Plessis (1.5 c), Harbhajan Singh (2 c), Dwayne Bravo (6.4 c), Shane Watson (4 c), Kedar Jadhav (7.8 c), Ambati Rayudu (2.2 c), Imran Tahir (1 c), Karn Sharma (5 c), Shardul Thakur (2.6 Cr), Jagadeesan Narayan (20L), Mitchell Santner (50L), Deepak Chahar (80L), KM Asif (40L), Lungi Ngidi (50 L), Kanishk Seth (20L), Dhruv Shorey (20L), M Vijay (2 Cr), Sam Billings (1 Cr), Mark Wood (1.5 Cr), Kshitiz Sharma (20 L), Monu Singh (20L), Chaitanya Bishnoi (20L)
RCB is known for their top order batsman, they could break the spirit of any bowler and win the match in first 5 over. But that was an old time when Chris Gayle would play and he only plays once or twice that way in the whole season. Finally, they get rid of their white elephant.
This year in IPL 2018 auction, they focused more on their bowler and middle order, because we all know that once RCP top order failed to perform, they crumble down like a paper castle. Now they have Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Sarfraz Khan, Brendon McCullum and Quinton de Kock. Looks like they have to build a perfect opening.
With a player like Washington Sundar, Pawan Negi, Chris Woakes, Moeen Ali and Nathan Coulter-Nile, their bowling department look stunning. Finally, they have someone in their squad to make up for all the batting fiasco they have done.
Team: Virat Kohli (retained 17 c), AB de Villiers (retained 11 c), Sarfraz Khan (retained 3 c), Brendon McCullum (3.6 c), Chris Woakes (7.4 c), Colin de Grandhomme (2.2 c), Moeen Ali (1.7 c), Quinton de Kock (2.8 c), Umesh Yadav (4.2 c), Yuzvendra Chahal (6 c), Manan Vohra (1.1 c), Kulwant Kejroliya (85 Lakh), Aniket Choudhary (30 Lakh), Navdeep Saini (3 c), Murugan Ashwin (2.2 Cr), Mandeep Singh (1.4 Cr), Washington Sundar (3.2 Cr), Pawan Negi (1 Cr RTM), Mohammad Siraj (2.6 Cr), Nathan Coulter-Nile (2.2 Cr), Anirudha Joshi (20L), Parthiv Patel (1.7 Cr), Tim Southee (1 Cr), Pavan Deshpande (20 L)
If any team which needs to be despite to win IPL 2018, then it would DD. They haven’t won any single one of the IPL, they came close to it by appearing in semifinals in first two years but then they just slipping down to the last.
That is why they try harder to make a balanced IPL team in IPL 2018 auction. They get their skipper back and Chris Morris. One of their biggest buys would be Rishabh Pant who they retained and Glenn Maxwell which is a powerhouse in itself.
With their bowling department which is filled with names like Mohammed Shami, Amit Mishra, Kagiso Rabada, Shahbaz Nadeem and Trent Boult, its look they are going to roll over the bulldozer of bowling attack on another team. This team looks really promising, well balanced and we hope they win this time.
Team: Rishabh Pant (retained 15 crore), Chris Morris (retained 11 c), Shreyas Iyer (retained 7 c), Glenn Maxwell (9 c), Gautam Gambhir (2.8 c), Jason Roy (1.5 c), Colin Munro (1.9 c), Mohammed Shami (3 c), Kagiso Rabada (4.2 c), Amit Mishra (4 c), Prithvi Shaw (1.2), Rahul Tewatia (3 c), Vijay Shankar (3.2 c), Harshal Patel (20 Lakh), Avesh Khan (70 Lakh), Shabaz Nadeem (3.2 Cr), Dan Christian (1.5 Cr), Jayant Yadav (50L), Gurkeerat Singh (75 L), Trent Boult (2.2 Cr), Manjot Kalra (20L), Abhishek Sharma (55L), Sandeep Lamichanne (20L), Naman Ojha (1.4 Cr), Sayan Ghosh (20L)
Mumbai Indian team looks like some sort of the red carpet for academy awards. So many stars in one team in their glory day. But if you think, they still have what it takes to win the IPL 2018, then you are right.
They retain their star players, Rohit Sharma (retained 15 crores), Hardik Pandya (retained 11 c), Jasprit Bumrah (retained 7 c), Kieron Pollard (5.4 c). they are the one who gets the best of IPL 2018 auction when they get at Cummins for 5.4 crores, Mustafizur Rahman for 2.2 crores, Ishan Kishan for 6.2 crores and Suryakumar Yadav for 3.2 crores to add just pinch of more talent.
They depend on most of the overseas bowler, which might be a bad choice as they might be wicket taker but Indian pitches are always loyal to Indian blower and Jaspreet bumrah might help they get the edge they are missing. The team looks good, let see how they will perform.
Team: Rohit Sharma (retained 15 crore), Hardik Pandya (retained 11 c), Jasprit Bumrah (retained 7 c), Kieron Pollard (5.4 c), Mustafizur Rahman (2.2 c), Pat Cummins (5.4 c), Suryakumar Yadav (3.2 c), Krunal Pandya (8.8 c), Ishan Kishan (6.2 c), Rahul Chahar (1.9 Cr), Evin Lewis (3.8 Cr), Saurabh Tiwary (80 L), Ben Cutting (2.2 Cr), Pradeep Sangwan (1.5 Cr), JP Duminy (1 Cr), Jason Behrendoff (1.5 Cr), Tajinder Dhillaon (55L), Sharad Lumba (20L), Siddhesh Lad (20L), Aditya Tare (20 L), Mayank Markande (20L), Akila Dananjaya (50L), Anukul Roy (20L), Anukul Roy (20L), MD Nidheesh (20 L)
One of the most loved teams in IPL 2018, they won two times in IPL and now they are looking to set their mark for the third time winner of IPL.
They go big and bag the player they wanted. They have Dinesh Karthik (7.4 crores) and Robin Uthappa (6.4 crores) which are the biggest hitter. They also get back their spinner so the team looks balanced. One of their biggest blunders was pouring out money on the first day of IPL 2018 auction and that left them somewhat lesser money on the next day. Yet with a team like this, they are set to sail the sea on the uncharted territory as the other 7 teams have a much more balanced team than KKR.
Team: Sunil Narine (retained 12.5 crore), Andre Russell (retained 8.5), Mitchell Starc (9.4 c), Chris Lynn (9.6 c), Dinesh Karthik (7.4 c), Robin Uthappa (6.4 c), Piyush Chawla (4.2 c), Kuldeep Yadav (5.8 c), Shubman Gill (1.8 c), Ishank Jaggi (20 Lakh), Kamlesh Nagarkotti (3.2 c), Nitish Rana (3.4 c), Vinay Kumar (1 Cr), Apoorv Wankhade (20L), Rinku Singh (80 L), Shivam Mavi (3 Cr), Mitchell Johnson (2 Cr), Javon Searles (30 L), Cameron Delport (30 L)
Someone forget to tell the RR buyer that it’s not an unlimited credit card and so they spend more and try to get as much as they can. They purchase one of the two biggest buy-ins IPL 2018 auction with Ben Stokes for 12.5 Crore and Jaydev Unadkat for 11.5
They get D’Arcy Short and Jofra Archer, who set the big bash on fire with their performance. As they are making come back after two years, they don’t want to left any stone unturned. Instead of going after spinner, which is the biggest deal of IPL 2018 auction, they smartly buy their player and made their team well balanced. We hope to see them in final soon.
Team: Steve Smith (retained 12.5 crore), Ben Stokes (12.5 c), Ajinkya Rahane (4 c), Stuart Binny (50 Lakh), Sanju Samson (8 c), Jos Buttler (4.4 c), Rahul Tripathi (3.4 c), D’Arcy Short (4 c), Jofra Archer (7.2 c), K Gowtham (6.2 Cr), Dhawal Kulkarni (75L RTM), Jaydev Unadkat (11.5 cr), Ankit Sharma (20L), Anureet Singh (30L), Zahir Khan Pakteen (60L), Shreyas Gopal (20L), MS Midhun (20L), Prashant Chopra (20L), Ben Laughlin (50L), Mahipal Lomror (20 L), Aryaman Birla (30 L), Jatin Saxena (20L), Dushmantha Chameera (50 L)
No one understands the reason behind Kings XI Punjab going gaga over every single player and spending royally, which make them one of the biggest spending buyers in IPL 2018 auction.
But they get the winning point when they get one of the biggest names in Indian cricket, they get R Ashwin (7.6 crores), Yuvraj Singh (2 crores), Karun Nair (5.6 crores) and KL Rahul (11 crores). To add more supremacy they bought Marcus Stoinis, David Miller, and Aaron Finch. They look more than desperate to win this time and that is why they get all the stars, but would they win IPL 2018 or it’s just all glitter and no gold.
Team: Axar Patel (retained 12.5 crore), R Ashwin (7.6 c), Yuvraj Singh (2 c), Karun Nair (5.6 c), KL Rahul (11 c), David Miller (3 c), Aaron Finch (6.2 c), Marcus Stoinis (6.2 c), Mayank Agarwal (1 c), Ankit Rajpoot (3 c), Manoj Tiwary (1 Cr), Mohit Sharma (2.4 Cr RTM), Mujeeb Zadran (4 Cr), Barinder Sran (2.2 Cr), Andrew Tye (7.2 Cr), Akshdeep Nath (1 Cr), Ben Dwarshius (1.4 Cr), Pardeep Sahu (20L), Mayank Dagar (20L), Chris Gayle (2 Cr), Manzoor Dar (20 L)
One of my personal favorite after CSK, they did win in IPL 2016 against RCB. They have tried harder every single time and now maybe their time. Their bowling line up was so good they even with the small target, their power would achieve the win.
They get back their star player like David Warner (12.5 c), Bhuvneshwar Kumar (8.5 c), Shikhar Dhawan (5.2 c). they got a ton of option in bowling with Sandeep Sharma, Chris Jordan, Billy Stanlake, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Rashid Khan and Shakib Al Hasan. Once again the bowling department looks dominating factor in the team. We look forward to their matches.
Team: David Warner (retained 12.5 c), Bhuvneshwar Kumar (retained 8.5 c), Shikhar Dhawan (5.2 c), Shakib Al Hasan (2 c), Kane Williamson (3 c), Manish Pandey (11 c), Carlos Brathwaite (2 c), Yusuf Pathan (1.9 c), Wriddhiman Saha (5 c), Rashid Khan (9 c), Ricky Bhui (20 Lakh), Deepak Hooda (3.6 c), Siddarth Kaul (3.8 c), T Natarajan (40 Lakh), Basil Thampi (95 Lakh), Khaleel Ahmed (3 c), Mohammad Nabi (1 Cr), Sandeep Sharma (3 Cr), Sachin Baby (20L), Chris Jordan (1Cr), Billy Stanlake (50L), Tanmay Agarwal (20L), Shreevats Goswami (1 Cr), Bipul Sharma (20L), Mehdi Hasan (20 L)
With all those player and team, IPL 2018 auction is one of the biggest luck changers for every team. We might try to find which team is more well balanced, but after all, cricket is a game of chance. Who do you think might win IPL 2018? Who are you rooting for? Do tell us in the comment.
After few months, we will be sitting on our couches and biting our nails while watching the tv. Why, because it’s the time of the year, it’s IPL time. One of the most exciting tournament which glue you to your seat and make your heartbeat run a little faster with every single boll. Every single ball and runs kept us in suspense of who will win the IPL 2018. Vivo IPL 11 is now not that far away and speculation of who will win is already been argued on every lunchtime and coffee table talk. Everyone is rooting for their team and they are positive that their team will win.
The IPL 2018 auction will tell us who is in which team, so from there we can predict that who might win. Cricket is a game of chance but it’s not a gamble but a rather calculative chance. With right team members and right teamwork, any team would become victories in the end. No one is the underdog and no one is champion, when the coin is flipped in the air or to the last over run chase, its hard to know who will win. But we can predict the real winner of IPL 2018 by just having constructive look at the team.
Chennai super king: the king has returned from the exile and they have no intention to fall back in the line. The man himself, the captain cool MS Dhoni will lead the finest of the player to this IPL 2018 with only one goal, win at all cost. We have missed them playing together in yellow jersey but now they are back. MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadeja, Harbhajan Singh, Kedar Jadhav and Ambati Rayudu, these are the Indian player which will lead the Chennai super king to their win. Faf du Plessis, Dwayne Bravo, Shane Watson and other foreign player will add just the right amount of talent which is necessary. This team is looking good and when they get back their moment, all hail the King.
Delhi Daredevils: this team is known to make a big upset at the game. They are not so lucky for all the seasons but this year, they are determined to change everything. When we look at the player like, Gautham Gambhir, Jason Roy and Colin Munro who are great with their batting and prove their steel often time to time. Chris Morris, Mohammed Shami, and Kagiso Rabada are the best they can get with blowing line up and we all know how good they are. This team has always tried their best to come up to the top and this time, they might be the winner.
Mumbai Indians: Mumbai Indians are always being blessed with such a talent pool which make them first choice to be the winner. This team has winner spirit and they play like one. With a player like Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya and Kieron Pollard are the big hitters who are known for their destructive batting. They don’t give umpire any rest with their sixes and fours. Mustafizur Rahman, Jasprit Bumrah, and Pat Cummins will give the edge on the bowling side. This team is surely one of the prominent team to win this IPL.
Kings XI Punjab: another team that has a stroke of bad luck in IPL. They have tried really hard for all those seasons but fail miserably. This year, they have made a significant change to the team which might be the winning combination for the Kings XI Punjab. In the IPL 2018 auction they have brought the great player and now the team look s perfect., Aaron Finch, Yuvraj Singh and Chris Gayle can give a blastering start and in bowling axar Patel. Ashvin and all the other bowler will take care of the business from there. This year, Punjab really have a chance to win this IPL and if they use their player wisely in the right order. No one will come in their way.
Kolkata Knight Riders: when you talk about IPL winner, you know that KKR team is not to be missed. They were a winner and they can be a really hard team to defeat. The combination of player will surely make other teams head turn as they have, Dinesh Karthik, Andre Russell Chris, Lynn Mitchell Starc and Sunil Narine. But as good as their bowling, they are too much depended on the batting. If one or two players failed to score, the pressure will be on the bowler. But it’s hard to tell who the dark horse in the team will be this time who take the team in final.
Rajasthan Royals: the team looks good and with a seasoned player like Steve Smith, Ben Stokes, Ajinkya Rahane, Stuart Binny scoring run won’t be a problem for them. Bowling might be little problematic but it could be better once they play matches. a spinner like K. Goutham who also playing his first IPL is known to be a mystery spinner and fast bowler like J.Unadkat and D.Kulkarni can surely make a difference. This team was the underdog in 2008 and they become the champion in the same year, so who knows? They might win too.
Royal Challengers Bangalore: the most favorite team of IPL 2018 who may be most likely the winner. When Virat Kohli retained at price of whooping 17cr in IPL 2018 auction, we know that what is coming. They have a great team and names like Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Brendon McCullum, Chris Woakes and Sarfaraz Khan has surely put them on the winning chart but the question is, will they play like the winner they used to be. Last year it was a great upset when the team didn’t perform well. They have great batting order, but bowling looks little weak. They could be the one to look out for.
Sunrisers Hyderabad: the sunriser team has chosen their player wisely this time. They have great batting order and back up too. The list is long with prominent players like Warner and Shikhar, Manish Pandey, Saha, Deepak Hooda and Kane Williamson. Bowling is great, Rashid Khan and Nabi are great spinners alongside Bhubaneshwar Kumar. So, this time will be one time they luck to stay with them till the end.

Indian Premier League 2018 will still play in April-May next year, but speculation surrounding the game is increasing day by day. Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals will return to the league after the two-year suspension ends.
Now one question in everyone mind is that How many players can a team retain in the IPL 2018? IPL 2018 Auction Set to take place in Bangalore on January 27 and 28. The last date for player retention is January 4.
5 Player retentions in IPL 2018
Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals will return to the Indian Premier League in 2018, and of course, the players will need to build their squads. CSK will retain players and try to get ‘Captain Cool’ back. Chennai Super Kings want to retain those players who have them before, MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina are two players, they definitely want to catch up. They both have a great relationship with the area, and it will be too big for fans that they play two for the Super Kings.
Players that CSK can retain or get back in the auction through a right to match option
Rajasthan Royals have said that they do not want to retain any player, and 2018 will be a clean slate in the IPL season and new players with new players for the team. This is a big decision, especially for a team that is probably one of the lowest budgets in the league, it would be interesting to see how they do in 2018.
Players that RR can retain or get back in the auction through a right to match option
Mumbai won the title for the third time this season and has become one of the most successful teams in the history of IPL. They want to retain their captain, Rohit Sharma, who took the third league trophy in blue. Apart from them, we can see Hardik Pandya, Kieron Pollard and Lasith Malinga also maintained for another season by the Mumbai Indians management.
There is no doubt that players will be looking to maintain them, David Warner and Shikhar Dhawan. Both of them have been extremely consistent in the last two seasons and have taken them to new heights. Losing them from the old order will be a bitter swallow swindling for Hyderabad management, and they will do everything possible to maintain any of these, if not both. Yuvraj Singh is also a valuable player for the team, and it is likely that we can see him again in an orange jersey. David Warner is in great form in the last two seasons for Sunrisers Hyderabad in particular, and he has been included in the title in 2016. He is definitely certain to be included in the list made and after a good third season, he and Bhuvneshwar Kumar led Sunrise to win another title in 2018.
Kolkata Knight Riders
Gautam Gambhir has been their main player, who has led the team from time to time, in the most difficult circumstances. He has been with the team since 2011 and in many, ays KKR is experienced. On their side, we can see Vipul All-rounder Yusuf Pathan, who has won many impressive victories in the form of defeat. In bowling, Sunil Narine has done well and it is difficult to imagine that the Knight Riders let them go.
Kings XI Punjab
They are a team requiring massive overhaul after performing dismally, in the last three seasons continuously, they need a side that can perform well. The 2017 season is expected to maintain two best performing players, Hashim Amla and Glenn Maxwell. They need a good batting order, and these two players have a lot to contribute to it.
Daredevils have built a good team, with the average age of the players in the last few years. They have invested in young talent and till they are not getting any concrete results, there are many names that perform brilliantly. Sanju Samson is a player who had played a good session with Delhi last year and is likely to play for the same team in 2018. Rishabh Pant has done well for his side in 2017 and Delhi can keep him well for the next season. In the foreign department, we can see that either Kagiso Rabada or JP Duminy has been kept. Zaheer Khan can also be retained by the team.
Royal Challengers Bangalore
Last but not least, we have Bangalore side Virat Kohli is undoubtedly a player who will be maintained in all situations. We know that he is a big star and his team will not let him go, with the paddle in his team, he can beat anyone in his day and he wants to return after taking the last place in the last season. However, it is possible that we can see AB De Villiers or Chris Gayle (there are more possibilities for the latter). Gayle has not been able to perform consistently in the last two seasons and in order to bring the replacement, it can be a move in the order of inauguration.
In the Indian Premier League, the IPL is leading the chart of most sixes in 2017 and also considering all seasons is Christopher Henry Gayle. Gayle is a Left-handed Batsman. Chris Gayle hits 251 sixes in 92 matches that he played in his IPL career. Some of the key players near to Gayle in the race of most sixes is Rohit Sharma, Suresh Raina, Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, AB de Villiers. AB de Villiers and David Warner hit 37 & 31 sixes respectively in season 9. In the last season, in IPL 2016, Kohli is included in the list of most sixes in the IPL 2016. He scored 38 sixes in 16 matches in season 9. In addition, Virat earned the title of Orange Cap Holder and Leading Run Scorer of the IPL season.
Cricket is the most adorable and most watched sport in India. IPL is a very popular sport and is going to start soon from the first week of April 2018.
