In the next IPL 2018, the two teams Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings will be back in IPL premiere league after two years of suspension. And Another thing is Rising Pune Supergiant and Gujarat Lions will be taken back from the league as there is the only squad for Eight teams in IPL premiere.

Some franchise owners don’t want to go for open player auction, while some are ready for open auction. There is also chance to retain the two players from each team and for the rest, the franchise has to undergo for Open player auction.

If the franchise has the power to retain their two players then Chennai super kings will go for MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina, Royal Challengers Banglore will for Virat Kohli and AB DE Villiers.

If the BCCI and the IPL committee will go for an open auction, then we will see the teams with new players and new captains. So it will be interesting to see the decision of officials in the next year auction.

In an Interview with Times of India, Kings X1 Punjab Owner Preity Zinta said that “All the franchise owners have been informed about open auctions. Preity said that she welcomes this decision by Board of Control for Cricket in India. However, she also added that there is no problem with KXIP’s current squad and she is very happy with how things are shaping for them this season.
