Mumbai Indians

Mumbai won the title for the third time this season and has become one of the most successful teams in the history of IPL. They want to retain their captain, Rohit Sharma, who took the third league trophy in blue. Apart from them, we can see Hardik Pandya, Kieron Pollard and Lasith Malinga also maintained for another season by the Mumbai Indians management.

Sunrisers Hyderabad

There is no doubt that players will be looking to maintain them, David Warner and Shikhar Dhawan. Both of them have been extremely consistent in the last two seasons and have taken them to new heights. Losing them from the old order will be a bitter swallow swindling for Hyderabad management, and they will do everything possible to maintain any of these, if not both. Yuvraj Singh is also a valuable player for the team, and it is likely that we can see him again in an orange jersey. David Warner is in great form in the last two seasons for Sunrisers Hyderabad in particular, and he has been included in the title in 2016. He is definitely certain to be included in the list made and after a good third season, he and Bhuvneshwar Kumar led Sunrise to win another title in 2019.

Kolkata Knight Riders

Gautam Gambhir has been their main player, who has led the team from time to time, in the most difficult circumstances. He has been with the team since 2011 and in many, ays KKR is experienced. On their side, we can see Vipul All-rounder Yusuf Pathan, who has won many impressive victories in the form of defeat. In bowling, Sunil Narine has done well and it is difficult to imagine that the Knight Riders let them go.

Kings XI Punjab

They are a team requiring massive overhaul after performing dismally, in the last three seasons continuously, they need a side that can perform well. The 2017 season is expected to maintain two best performing players, Hashim Amla and Glenn Maxwell. They need a good batting order, and these two players have a lot to contribute to it.

Delhi Daredevils

Daredevils have built a good team, with the average age of the players in the last few years. They have invested in young talent and till they are not getting any concrete results, there are many names that perform brilliantly. Sanju Samson is a player who had played a good session with Delhi last year and is likely to play for the same team in 2018. Rishabh Pant has done well for his side in 2017 and Delhi can keep him well for the next season. In the foreign department, we can see that either Kagiso Rabada or JP Duminy has been kept. Zaheer Khan can also be retained by the team.

Royal Challengers Bangalore

Last but not least, we have Bangalore side Virat Kohli is undoubtedly a player who will be maintained in all situations. We know that he is a big star and his team will not let him go, with the paddle in his team, he can beat anyone in his day and he wants to return after taking the last place in the last season. However, it is possible that we can see AB De Villiers or Chris Gayle (there are more possibilities for the latter). Gayle has not been able to perform consistently in the last two seasons and in order to bring the replacement, it can be a move in the order of inauguration.
